At Giftwrpd, we take great care in curating our luxury gift boxes and want you to be delighted with your purchase. Due to the nature of our products, we have established the following returns policy to ensure quality and fairness for all our customers.

Understanding Our 14-Day Return Period

In accordance with UK consumer law, you have 14 days from receiving your order to request and complete a return for eligible items.

Return authorisation is required before sending anything back. Contact us within this timeframe with your order details and reason for return. We will confirm whether your item qualifies for return - please see "Items That Cannot Be Returned" below for exclusions.

Returned items must arrive back with us within the 14-day period, not just be posted. We recommend allowing sufficient time for postal delivery when planning your return.

How to Arrange a Return

Return authorisation is required for all returns. If you wish to return an eligible item, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us via our contact form with your order number and reason for return.
  • Await authorisation. We will assess your return request and, if approved, provide you with a unique return authorisation (RMA) number, our returns address, and any additional instructions.
  • Package your return. Carefully package all items in their original condition with all contents included. Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
  • Send via tracked service. Use a tracked and signed-for delivery service (such as Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Special Delivery). Keep your tracking receipt as proof of postage.

Important: Unauthorised returns without an RMA number cannot be accepted and may be returned to sender at your expense.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage. We strongly recommend using a tracked and signed-for service to protect your return in transit, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Condition Requirements for Returns

To ensure our products can be resold and maintain our quality standards, returned items must be:

  • Completely unused and unopened
  • In their original packaging with all tags and seals intact
  • Complete with all items from the gift box included
  • In fully resalable condition

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns that don't meet these conditions, and items may be returned to you at your expense.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

For health, safety, and quality reasons, certain items cannot be returned. If your gift box contains any of the following, the entire gift box is not eligible for return:

Perishable Items: Gift boxes containing food, flowers, plants, or other perishable products cannot be returned once delivered.

Personalised or Bespoke Items: Items made to your specifications, personalised with names, messages, or dates, or commissioned creative pieces (such as art, sculpture, or ceramics) cannot be returned as they are created uniquely for you.

Hygiene-Sealed Personal Items: Items such as earrings, cosmetics, underwear, skincare products, or face masks cannot be returned once hygiene seals have been broken.

Opened or Used Items: If any item in the gift box has been opened, used, or removed from its packaging, the entire gift box becomes non-returnable.

These exclusions are in line with UK consumer law and help us maintain the highest standards for all our customers.

Processing Your Refund

Once we receive your return, we will:

  • Inspect the items to ensure they meet our return conditions
  • Notify you within 48 hours of our decision
  • Process approved refunds within 14 days to your original payment method

Please note that return postage costs are not refundable, and your bank or card issuer may take additional time to process the refund to your account.

Damaged or Faulty Items

We take great care in packaging our gift boxes, but occasionally issues can occur during transit. If you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact us via our contact form within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the damage or fault
  • A brief description of the issue

We'll work with you to find the best solution, which may include replacing the damaged item, arranging for the gift box to be returned and replaced, or another appropriate resolution. Where we approve a return for damaged or faulty items, we will cover the return postage costs.

Your Consumer Rights

This policy complies with UK consumer law under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, subject to the exclusions for perishable, personalised, and hygiene-sealed items outlined above.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
